To add a certificate, navigate to the section where you want it to appear and click Add an activity or resource.
Select Certificate from the list of activities and click Add.
Give the certificate a name and fill in the description field if desired.
Fill out the Issue Options based on your preferences. We do recommend checking the box next to Required course completion.
Complete the Text Options section. If your teachers are taking courses for credit hours, you might want to include them on the certificate.
You can experiment with the Design Options to make your certificate look the way you want it to.
The Restrict access section can be used to control when the certificate becomes available. This is especially important if you did not check the box in Issue Options to require course completion. We recommend checking the box to hide the restrictions on the course page.
You can fill in User interests if you are using this feature.
Once complete, select Save and return to course or Save and display to preview the certificate you just created.
